Japanese restaurants in America are typically high-end. This location and building are pedestrian, with CMU exterior and relatively low drop ceilings. I feel that if this restaurant were on Union in Olean, with soaring ceilings and high-end interior ambiance, like Brothers’ Bistro or The Old Library, that it might be a more cachet destination."
